Local MP Caroline Dinenage will be channelling her inner McEnroe, as she opens the resurfaced courts at Alverstoke Lawn Tennis Squash & Badminton Club this weekend.
The Open Day will offer fun for all the family; with a BBQ, cake stalls and raffle as well as taster sessions for a range of racquet sports.
Speaking ahead of her visit, Caroline said:
"I'm really looking forward to visiting the Alverstoke Lawn Tennis, Squash & Badminton Club this weekend. We're fortunate to have some of the best facilities in Hampshire right on our doorstep and I would encourage people to come down and check out the Club.
The fundraising effort to resurface the courts proves that with members who are passionate and dedicated, a small group of individuals can make a big difference, providing great facilities for everyone to enjoy."
The Open Day will be run from 1100 to 1700 on Sunday 17th March.
