Gosport MP, Dame Caroline Dinenage, welcomes the news that two businesses in Lee on the Solent have made it to the semi-finals in the 2022 British Kebab Awards.
Lee Kebab & Pizza House is in the semi-finals for Best Regional Takeaway category, while Antep Turkish Kitchen is in the semi-finals for Best Newcomer outside of London.

“After the extremely difficult last couple of years for the hospitality industry, it’s really important that we recognise the hard work, quality of food and fantastic service of these businesses.
I am so pleased that these two local shops have made it to the semi-finals. They are great ambassadors for Lee on the Solent. I will be voting for them and encourage local people to get behind them for the win!”
The British Kebab Awards were launched in 2013 and are the first and only of their kind, the annual event celebrates the contribution of the UK’s kebab businesses to the British economy and the achievements of the hard-working people of the UK’s almost 50-year-old industry.
