Local MP Caroline Dinenage will meet with representatives from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust tomorrow, as she continues her support for the conservation of the local marine environment.
Friday's meeting at Hillhead Harbour will provide the opportunity to explore the Trust's work in greater depth and discuss areas of concern directly with Caroline.
Speaking ahead of her visit, Caroline said:
"The Trust does a vital job safeguarding the marine environment and we're very lucky to have so many areas of outstanding natural beauty right on our doorstep - Alver Valley, Hillhead Harbour and Stokes Bay to name but a few.
I look forward to our meeting and am committed to working with the Trust to ensure our marine environment remains protected for people to enjoy for many years to come."
Caroline is a strong advocate of marine conservation and Friday's meeting reiterates her commitment on this important issue.
