Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage today met First Hampshire to discuss a possible review to recent changes made to the local bus routes.
Caroline decided to take action after a number of her constituents expressed their concerns at the revised timetable via letters, emails and during her regular advice surgeries.
Following today's meeting with Marc Reddy, First Hampshire's Commercial and Business Growth Director, Caroline said:
"I'm reassured that First Hampshire have taken onboard the concerns of my constituents – their loyal customers, and decided to review their decision if enough people contact them about the changes. I'd encourage all residents who are unhappy with the current situation to write to First Hampshire expressing their concerns."
This commitment to review the routes follows Caroline's recent letter to First Hampshire, expressing her strong objections to the new timetable. First have stated that any reviews to the new system will be introduced by the spring.
