Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage is urging people to keep their energy bills down using a brand new online calculator.
The new tool enables householders to check what grants and financial support are available to them. With the forthcoming freezing temperatures set to stretch household finances across the Gosport peninsula, the calculator will prove to be an invaluable resource.
Caroline commented:
"Fuel bills are a big worry for many people, both in Gosport and across the UK. I am pleased that the Government has expressed its commitment to helping hardworking people get the cheapest electricity and gas tariffs that suit their needs."
Since her election, Caroline has frequently raised the matter of high energy costs with her Ministerial colleagues and has supported a number of campaigns aiming to tackle the problem.
