Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage today paid a visit to the Lynbyrd Express training centre in her constituency and learnt more about how the organisation is helping local people get back into work.
Lynbyrd Express is a company which specialises in delivering business training and personal development courses for the long-term unemployed and those wishing to progress their careers. A wide range of options are available including CV writing workshops, practice interview sessions and more targeted business-based courses.
Speaking after her visit, Caroline said:
“It was wonderful to visit Lynbyrd Express and to meet the passionate staff who are helping local people to turn their lives around. Having spoken to Lynbyrd alumnae, I was delighted to hear such glowing feedback about the courses and to see the inspirational progress which participants have since made.
During these tough economic times, the help provided by companies such as Lynbyrd is particularly important which is why I am delighted to pledge my support to their work.”
As a strong advocate of the adult skills agenda, Caroline is committed to promoting the significance of lifelong learning. Last October she lead a debate in the House of Commons on the importance of adult literacy and numeracy.
