Stuart Andrew MP, Minister for Defence Procurement at the Ministry of Defence, will visit Gosport on Monday to open a new Research and Technology centre at STS Defence.
Gosport based STS Defence are specialists in mission-critical communications and intelligent systems and operate in the defence, marine, aerospace and nuclear sectors.
The Minister will receive a demonstration of STS Defence’s latest technology development after opening their new Research and Technology centre and a tour of their facilities.
Speaking ahead of the visit, Caroline said
“It is great that the Minister has the opportunity to learn more about the exciting and innovative work being undertaken by STS Defence.
I’m really pleased that the Minister has accepted my invitation to meet with STS Defence to discuss procurement from SME’s and to open their new Research and Technology Centre.”
