Fareham MP, Mark Hoban and Gosport MP, Caroline Dinenage will host a trade and export seminar for companies across their constituencies in April.
The aim of the event is for small to medium sized businesses to benefit from the same advantages enjoyed by the hundreds of UK companies winning overseas business and diversifying their customer base each year.
The seminar, to be held at Cams Hall, Fareham, on Friday 27th April, will offer comprehensive support and advice to help companies realise their exporting potential. Companies will hear presentations from the UKTI, Solent LEP and the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, as well as meeting local businesses.
Commenting on the event, Fareham MP and Treasury Minister, Mark Hoban said:
"Britain needs to export more to secure stable and sustainable growth. We want to see exports double to a trillion pounds by 2020 and I believe that local firms can make a huge contribution to achieving that ambition. This seminar will help businesses identify opportunities to secure their future".

"Companies across Gosport and Fareham could reap significant benefits by exporting. Our seminar will offer the advice and support they need to tap into this potential, so they achieve real growth as a company and deliver economic and employment benefits for the wider community".
