High Court rules against Government on Article 50

Last week, the High Court ruled that Brexit cannot be triggered without a Parliamentary vote. 

Here in the Gosport constituency a resounding 64% of people voted to leave the EU. The people have spoken and I see it as the Government's duty to deliver on the result of this referendum. 

The Prime Minister is clear that she has no intention of letting this result change its timetable for triggering Article 50 and the Government will appeal this judgment.
