Local MP Caroline Dinenage has welcomed the commitment shown by Gosport based packaging giant, Huhtamaki UK Ltd as the company looks to recruit apprentices for its manufacturing operations in Gosport.
The leading disposable cup manufacturer in the UK, with clients including McDonalds & Starbucks Coffee, Huhtamaki has seen significant growth in the UK over the last 2 to 3 years and is keen to develop the skill base as the need for innovation, continuous improvement and shorter lead times place ever more demands on the business.
Following the announcement of the recruitment drive, Caroline said:
