If re-elected on 8th June I will continue to celebrate our fantastic coastal location.
There are exciting plans for the waterfront area between the Gosport Ferry and Royal Clarence Marina but before these can be pursued the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (formerly Defence Estates) had to be persuaded to release a key piece of disused MoD land. For years I have been battling with the DIO, and at the end of 2014, after bringing an official from the organisation to Gosport we finally got their go-ahead.
The release of this land will unlock the development of the entire waterfront area, where we have plans for a marine business park and a number of commercial ventures as well as improvements to our High Street.
If re-elected on 8th June I will continue to push for improvements to make our area even better!
