Today, two more inspiring apprentices from Gosport are being profiled as a part of local MP Caroline Dinenage's #GetInGoFar campaign.
Samantha Buckley, 26, has worked at Alver Vets for 7 years as a receptionist and chose to do an apprenticeship to help enhance her business administration skills within her role for future career progression.
Thomas Brading, 22, is an apprentice at Defence Munitions Gosport. He originally planned to do engineering at University, however after listening to the opinions of others and realising high current demand for apprentices, he decided that doing an apprenticeship would best facilitate his goals and ambitions.
Commenting, Caroline said:
"While it was not Samantha and Thomas's original plan to do an apprenticeship, they agree that the experience has given them both great opportunities to learn skills in their different sectors. Their decisions will benefit them in the long run with expertise, knowledge and great possibilities for career progression."
