Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage will be attending Mum Aid First Aid's training event this Wednesday, 26th August.
Mum Aid First Aid offers affordable first aid training for children and families. Wednesday's event will be free of charge and will educate attendees in baby and adult CPR as well as defibrillation.
Speaking ahead of the session, Caroline said:
"As a parent, I know how frightening it can be when a child becomes unwell which is why it is important that we are well equipped to carry out emergency first aid procedures including CPR and defibrillation.
Being able to act quickly is crucial and can have a dramatic effect on outcomes so I would encourage anyone with small children to come along and learn more about these potentially lifesaving procedures."
The scheme will be running for six weeks at Arty's at The Coach House, 98 Fareham Road, Gosport, PO13 0AG between 7pm and 9pm on Wednesday. For more information visit: http://www.mumaidfirstaid.com/#!cpr/c15cc.
