Conservative Parliamentary Candidate, Caroline Dinenage today joined the Partners Through Pain group in Gosport at one of its regular meetings.
Partners Through Pain brings together people living with chronic pain to keep abreast of changes in the development of pain management and treatment. It also campaigns on issues such as the funding of pain management locally and regularly engages with the Fareham and Gosport Clinical Commissioning Group to voice concerns. At today's meeting the Chair of the CCG, Dr David Chilvers updated members on the progress being made to improve the provision of healthcare in the area and took questions from attendees.
Caroline took the opportunity to talk to members about local and national issues. Speaking after the event, she commented:
"Partners Through Pain doesn't just form a support network for people living with chronic pain but also gives them a strong voice with which they can raise their concerns with local healthcare decision makers. It is a really welcoming group and such a valuable resource for our area."
