Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage came face to face with a team of tigers this week! Fortunately these weren't big cats, but the "Tigers Children's Motorcycle Display Team", who showed off their 'impurressive' skills in a team training session. The "Tigers" includes children from just 4 to 12 years old who perform tricks, stunts and jumps in public shows around the UK. After meeting the gang during one of their weekly training sessions at Daedalus airfield in Lee on the Solent, Caroline agreed to take part in a daring stunt; lying beneath a jump as tiger after tiger roared above her!
Commenting, Caroline said "When the Tigers invited me to one of their training session I didn't know that they would be jumping over me! Despite the risk of a Gosport by-election had they missed their target, I had an enormous amount of fun. The Tigers group is run by parents who give up so much of their time to travel across the country, supporting something that their kids clearly love and making thousands of pounds for local charities in the meantime. It's another great example of the exciting activities taking place across the Gosport Peninsula!"
The 'Tigers' can be found training at Daedalus most Sundays during the winter and performing at events and shows across the UK during the summer months. For more info contact Andy on 07792 220443.
